Grouse Mountain!

We got up SUPER early today, before 5AM to go to Grouse Mountain to watch the Today Show being filmed. We drove up to Grouse and took the tram up the mountain. It is pretty steep! The show was almost over by the time we got there, but we managed to see Lester Holt doing a segment and went inside to see Brian Boitano cooking cornmeal hockey pucks oddly enough.

We walked around the mountain for a bit and came back to the little skating rink they had set up. So Matt and I decided to rent skates and go out for a bit. As sad as this sounds, I cannot remember the last time I was on skates. I'm sure it was before I was in law school. But I did ok, it came back to me after a while.

I got some great shots of the city heading down the mountain too:

We came back and got breakfast and just chilled. I managed to get a virus on my computer. Fortunately, I am staying with someone who has a computer science degree and he fixed it right up! I have a ticket to the Slovakia-Latvia hockey game at 4:30 so I am going to head down there soon. It should be a decent game. I'll be back with pictures later!
