The final thing I wanted to do was see the cauldron lit up at night. I took a little trip down to the waterfront to see the rings lit up in gold and the cauldron. They both looked incredible. I'll have more updates and pictures today or tomorrow but I just wanted to put these up. It has been an unforgettable 10 days. The Olympics have been everything I thought they would be, in the best possible way. That isn't to say there weren't some annoyances but overall it was the best trip I've ever been on. I will have a hard time topping this one!
